Gmail Takeout

I downloaded all my gmail data using Google Takeout. The main reason I wanted to do this was to save my gmails. When I open the email folder and download what is there, only a symbol of a white drawer with a blue interior appears. I can't find how to view my emails.

It creates a file called takeout-DATE-001.zip with folders for each product. Windows will open it, you may need an app on other platforms.
