I HAVE this idea: let's go some few hundred messages back to Batman & that ilk. Who is the fastest superhero on planet Earth? Superman, according to Guinness World Records.

I HATE to disagree, but The Flash is the fastest actual superhero (not an imposter in a silly costume).

Sorry MATE, but the silly costume in The Flash TV series was obviously influenced by Batman.

How should we RATE the superheroes? Shouldn't we use something in their character, rather than their speed?

Perhaps it would be best to let fate decide their destiny.

Just to FAZE everyone, tomorrow I will be driving through Fate, Texas. It's on I-30 northeast of Dallas, and I don't know of any superheroes who have retired to Fate.

While on your journey you could laze at the lake and hopefully catch a few striped Bass.

Don't laze too long at the lake though, otherwise you'll arrive LATE for your appointment.

At any RATE
twice this day I passed Fate
and slipped through her claws unscathed.

And yes, I did get to gaze (but not laze) at a lake along the way to and fro. We do have water in my portion of Texas!

By rote, I always ensure that I go fishing, whenever I perchance to pass a lake.

Do you TOTE along a cooler full of ice for such adventures, to keep the fish you catch fresh and ready to cook/freeze when you get home?

Or, perhaps you fish and release like I know some people like to do just for fun!

I vote for (and practice) fish and release, ninety nine percent of the time. It is only on very rare occasions (when I am out camping) that I will catch and keep a fish for dinner.

I NOTE there's been an increased interest in birth certificates recently. No political postings are allowed here (and rightly so....), so I draw your attention only to the Spider-Man's Birth Certificate.

It is a handy document one should have before wanting to tie a wedding KNOT!

An interesting new super heroine could perhaps be SpiderWoman!

NOTA bene: SpiderWoman is neither new nor particularly young.
