I can't say it's actually superstition, but I follow numerology and have my lucky numbers and numbers I identify with.

I don't follow numerology, but I do have numbers I consider "lucky" although they don't always bring me luck

(I forgot about this thread.)

On a up note, 7 is considered the perfect number in most cultures

For those of you who follow numerology, it is something which is based on the Old Testament. Each number in the Old Testament has a supernatural meaning

Here in Manila 13 is considered bad luck number, in fact in most buildings there's no 13th floor.

But while I was in Singapore, I lived in the 13th floor... so is 13 considered a good/normal number by the chinese?

To add to teacher's post: 11 is the Pagan's 'sacred number', as it is a Mystic number. It's said to be so because we have a decimal system, so 11 is the first number 'out of reach', just beyond what we can see.

Not sure where the heck I picked this bit of trivia up...

One of my favourite authors, Raoul Auclair came up with this:

The pact Germany-Soviet lasted 666 days, of August 23, 1939 to June 20, 1941.

Can't remember which book it was.

Spiderman (Eric Thiebaut-George) has been "evil" for nearly two months now, and I hadn't noticed!

By coincidence I am listening to a song called "Evil, in league with Satan" (by black metal pioneers Venom). And I put on that cd before checking this topic !

We currently have another Poster of Evil:  xbot!

As I think has already been noted however, there's no user whose number is 666...

Talking Happy Evil Day everybody!

Yes, today is 6/6/06 (or 06/6/6 in Japan).

Appropriately enough, today is the release date of the Omen remake in UK cinemas...
