I've got my shortcut in the Quickstart tray of Windows set up with the -nohome parameter, and when using another shortcut I just have about:blank

Like Edwin, mine is set to my own web page with my favorite links. It contains Goggle's search engine code so that I can search from it if needed. And boy, do I google a lot! It resides on my HD so it loads instantly. I also have a copy of it on my web server so that I can access it from any computer.

I've also been adding to it as time goes by. And have upgraded the interface a couple of times.

I really think this is the best way to go. Useful, extremely fast and has what YOU want.

Jessica
P.S. Good poll, btw!

Hi btn. I subcribe to this thread by email and as soon as I received an email that you posted, I was 99.9% sure I'd see everyone.net

Also, I just realized we missed your birthday, so, happy belated birthday. I recall is was 3 days within mine, so I hope you're birthday went well.

I was in the South Bay tonight - Palo Alto - with a friend - low-key birthday. It's nice getting out of "the city" once in a while.

I could have also voted for MSN since my WinXP box likes to randomly revert IE's default homepage to MSN. (Another reason my main machine is a Mac. ) Thanks for the birthday note!

Heh. On my Macintosh, Internet Explorer randomly resets my home page to apple.com.

Most of the time, though, I use Mozilla, which doesn't have this problem.

You could have IE set to always display the home page of your choice.
