I've e-mailed my photo today to PhotoPage @ gmail DOT com.

I don't know whether Dave (DBH) is still with us, as it appears he has not posted for nearly 3 years now?

Anyone know?

Although Dave only posts rarely, he usually appears after a post to this thread (after a few days at the most) Hopefully he will read his mail and post here soon

Just re-read the enitre thread. 12 pages long for me, because I have my thread view set to 40 posts per page.

Have to laugh at the comment at the bottom of this post; it also reminds me that my pic is long overdue for updating, as the present one is over 10 years old(!) and my beard is now grey. And I'm supposed to be clean-shaven anyway, so that my CPAP mask would fit better...

Some pictures seem to have disappeared without explanation in this thread -- I particularly miss dragon1.

Updated

I just now e-mailed my updated photo, but first had to look and see my "old" self...LOL. The new one was taken when my husband and I were celebrating at my favorite Italian cafe, Strings.

I wonder why Web Of Trust gives the photo page such an abysmal rating.

It shows how much you can trust Web Of Trust

Those Web Of Trust ratings are mind-boggling. OK, "Privacy: Very poor" is understandable (but irrelevant), since it's a photo-gallery page and its whole reason for being is to publish those pictures, but:
  • Trustworthiness: Unsatisfactory? What is there to trust? It's just a photo gallery -- this rating should be "N/A" or "irrelevant".
  • Vendor Reliability: Poor? What vendor? It's a gallery, not a sales site; see above.
  • Child Safety: Poor? What is there on this page that makes it unsafe for children?

Hence I'd like to add my own ratings:
  • Usefulness of WoT ratings: Zero
  • Relevance of WoT ratings: Zero
  • Trustworthiness of WoT: Zero

If it's for sale, will it be reliable?

Not appreciated

I really hate spam and don't appreciate it. How'd you get all those posts? Are you a multitasking spammer?

I presume you're replying to a series of posts which the mods have deleted.

Certainly if a number of posts are made in a short time, that usually means a spammer -- I could tell, from the "New Posts" list alone, that the latest spammer(s) (honeybytha and mitchel -- I suspect they're the same person) were such.

Yes, Robert. I saw them at the time . . . there were quite a LOT unfortunately.

My personal response is not to reply in the forum (they'll be long gone anyway) but to report it as spam.

I totally agree, since spam is destined to be deleted it's utterly pointless to reply to it.

One of today's spammers (mitchel) replied to the fruit-quiz thread "i'm a banana lol" to which I was sorely tempted to reply "no you're not, you're a spammer". But of course I didn't.
