You are wanting to retrieve messages from your existing POP3 message stores and forward them through to your Gmail account? (Presumably for archival purposes) If this is the case, then you might want to consider an application called fetchmail (http://catb.org/~esr/fetchmail/ for UNIX/Linux/Mac OS X, http://unixmail-w32.sourceforge.net/ for Windows) which can retrieve mail from a number of sources (POP3, IMAP4) and forward it onto an alternate destination.

I don't know of any program, unfortunately.

I hate to say this, but Fastmail can do this. Create a Poplink, then set up a redirect rule that points at your Gmail account, triggered by the header X-Link-Name (don't pin me on that one, I'd have to look it up to make sure), and Pop go your mails...

(edit: Rob beat me to the second, methinks. Hadn't thought of using Fetchmail... isn't that supposed to be pretty much an UberGeek tool, though? )

Set the rule directly from the POP links screen, if you aren't using a custom script; else, the test is header "X-LinkName" "ExactPOPLinkName".

Surely it's more a 'GMail Forum' issue?

ERC can do this.
