Delete mails

I want to delete all emails (there are many...) from my Gmail Inbox, using my Android phone.
Can this be done?

To my knowledge, the Gmail iPhone and Android phone apps do not allow selecting all messages so they can be deleted at one step. The Gmail iPad app (and probably Android tablet app, but I haven’t tested this) and the desktop browser Gmail website do allow selecting all messages so they may be deleted in one step.

Of course I'll do it on my desktop computer.

Or perhaps you can do it with the browser on the phone by making it ask for the desktop site (I know Firefox on Android allows the users to request the desktop site, but I couldn't see how to select all mail this way).
