A new album that's on high rotation in my home; Wolfmother's Wolfmother!

I also really like the Snow Patrol CD eyes open!

Still kicking myself for missing Wolfmother when they played in Oslo a couple of weeks ago (couldn't get tickets). Though come June 14th and I'll get to see 'em on-stage at Norwegian Wood...

Wow, how embarrasing that I actually went out and brought an 'ultimate 90s' cd collection!

Well anyway some groovey old songs from that include;

Bette Midler - From a distance
Alanis Morissette - Ironic
Lemonheads - Mrs Robinson
Collective Soul - Shine
B-52's - Roam

Here is one of my favourite songs. You don't need the CD - you can always find it on the internet.

Nice one David! ....talking about "you tube" did you see the Zimmers cover of My Generation? Quite amusing fund raiser for Age Concern in the UK.

Interesting Malc: No, I hadn't seen that before. You made me realise I am getting older...

Speak for yourself. I'm not tired of rock -- on the contrary, my Pure One (DAB) radio is permanently tuned to The Arrow (All Rock Radio plus an "ow").

The imminent death of rock has been predicted every year for the last fifty years, and it hasn't happened yet...

I almost forgot a remix of a classic 90's song ~ the theme to Australian 'So you think you can dance' and a hit in the Australian music charts!

I've been listening a lot to Silence, an anonymous album on the Hänssler label. It's an incredibly relaxing album, and was a bargain at only £12.69 for a 3-CD set.

I discovered it by accident -- I had ripped an album called Perfect Peace Instrumental (not very well, due to encoding errors on the CD) and was trying to tag it using Winamp. Winamp falsely identified it as "Silence, disc 1" (which is a cover version, and of far higher quality) so I looked into this. Don't you just love serendip discoveries?
