BT basic email question
I use BT as email provider and Apple Mail on Apple devices. I have just changed my broadband provider from BT to Sky and received this notice from BT:
"Any email addresses linked to your broadband account will be downgraded to our Basic email service after 60 days. To keep all the features you have today, you can choose to sign up to our Premium email service for £7.50 a month by Direct Debit." "With Basic email you get: Just one BT email address. You won’t be able to create new ones, but any you already have will still work Access via www.bt.com only. You can't use this email with an email client or on your device (My bold) Protection from viruses, spam and phishing UK-based tech support". Is there any way round this (bold) limitation without buying their Premium service? |

That’s why an email addrsss from an external provider means you aren’t charging your email address each isp move.
