PM Spam

Many thanks to the mod who banned the PM spammer this morning.

Lately we have a barrage of spammers from all over.Thanks to you, the members of this forum who report them quickly, we are able to maintain a clean and friendly environment.

We want a more efficient way to report them when they come to us as private messages. That "forward" thing does not do much. We need to know WHO TO send the spamm message.

n5bb simply forwarded the spam PM to a couple of moderators.
The quoted message showed the spammers username.

Ya they think they are smart and can avoid being found out.. They fail to realise most of us will say something and give them thier rewards!!

Maybe New members should not be able to use the PM system until they have 10 posts..

There should definitely be a limit on how many PM's a (new) user can send.

I suggest that 'Edwin' is also included in these reports - he may ignore them, but he then can't say he's not been made aware of any spam problem.
