FYI: forum hosting has been changed

This forum is now hosted on a different server, but if the move went right, you shouldn't be able to tell the difference...

If something's broken that used to work a couple of days ago, please mention it below. Thanks.

I was worried when the site didnt come back in a few hours but im glad it seems to have gone OK!!

I am sorry after all these years you had to change your host but I am glad you didnt just take it down. EMD is an excellent place and we are glad you have kept it running so good!

Yes I can confirm this,I just tried to create "Test 5" and the email to verify the account doesnt come.......

Im gonna try changing the email address I used and see if it sends it then.... If I dont update this reply,It didnt..........

No, don’t do that! You don’t receive the verifying email either. Then you’re locked out.

Thanks. I have now seen this.

Will try to find a fix, but it may not be quick or easy. The old version of the forum literally doesn't exist any more because the previous hosting firm no longer supported software this board needs behind the scenes. The new host is running what I thought was an exact copy, but clearly something (what?) is different.

So I am aware and will do what I can. But no idea as to the timeframe, sorry.

Ok. I think email notifications should now be working.

At least, I've tested creating a new user and received the correct email to verify the account.

Please note: I don't think the vBulletin software is smart enough (the way it is configured) to go back and re-send any emails that didn't go out. Sorry about that. But hopefully emails will be sent correctly going forward.

No the best way in those cases is to click FORGOT PASSWORD and it will resend it.. (I have done that before)

Im sorry they do things that end up causing problems.....
