Annoyance with Mail.com
A while ago I opened an account on Mail.com, used it a few times, then set it aside until recently.
When I went to log in, it started by claiming the password was wrong. I was willing to believe I'd miscopied it, so I double-checked. I was right. Then it claimed there was no such account, although I had clearly noted down the information Okay, I thought, maybe it was deleted for inactivity, so I'll just re-create it. But now it was suddenly demanding a cell phone, which it didn't before. I'm guessing that they changed their requirement, and just wiped out the account instead of warning me. |

1and1 has very strong policy on risk management.
So it?s normal to lose your access. |

Well, I tried it because I liked the simple name and it was a freebie that didn't require much. Like no cell phone number originally.
What did you switch to instead? And what's 1and1? |
