The only way you can sign up is to use your existing Twitter account, or join Twitter first.

500 characters maximum for outgoing and incoming messages.

So this basically is more or less identical to setting Twitter accounts to visable for followers only. If you already have a Twitter account (which is obligatory to sign up apparently) then why would you also need this email account?
Waste of time, but especially waste of a good domainname which could have been very useful if it were used by a proper email service. PS: I don't use Twitter. One of the many hypes I never grasped. |
