I saw it mentioned on BBC and wondered - was it shown in other countries?

Sesame streets have many versions produced all around the planet.
When I was a child I remember that we had the American version broadcasted here (probably dubbed). Later they produced a local version (but I was older and not very interested. My youngest brother probably was, and I think my children also watched it).
