Can't find TONS of E_mails in Gmail - help!?!
Dear Anyone.
Tried putting a screenshot here but can't find a way to DO it, so am gonna have to describe this. I'm in my GMAIL inbox - secondary E_mail addy, Hotmail's my usual one. It says 13.2 Gig used, out of 15 gig. In the top right corner it says 1-50 out of 4,513. BUT - in the INBOX heading, top LEFT corner it says I've only got 10 E_mails in my INbox, and 45 in the junk mail folder. There's a column of other folder names but none of them have any numbers against them. So where's the other 4,400-odd E_mails? I need to know so I can delete a wedge to free things up but I've no idea where to look for them! I can list all the other folder names if it'll help anyone, just ask me to. Can't find any E_mails in them though. Yours puzzledly, Chris. Who's aware he royally sucks at websites, so feel free to say the Utterly and Totally Obvious (to you!) You won't be hurting any feelings here, promise! |

Click on All Mail and you should see all the emails in your account, including ones from the Sent folder. You might have to activate the All Mail label by going to Settings/Labels and clicking on "show."

You might search for messages that have been archived without applying a label.
Try the search ... has:nouserlabels -in:inbox -in:sent -in:drafts See more search options here ... https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7190?hl=en |
