AFAIK at my.com its not possible anymore to set up a new account. I remember they even had servers in the USA...back in the day. That email was only to use in combination with a mobile phone by the way.

Just a reminder that the MyMail App which is tied to them, as well as MS Outlook Mobile app, both intercept & store (!!!) login credentials and mail traffic on their servers.

In case you care about your privacy, we don't recommend either of these apps.

This service (vk.mail.ru) of free email is already old, additional to your account vkontakte vk.com! Its the same company with mail.ru. No, there is not any IMAP or POP access until now as I know. But you can download the apk app for android for it.

You can now create application passwords using https://account.mail.ru/user/2-step-auth/passwords

Login to your VK Mail account
In the new tab, go to https://account.mail.ru/user/2-step-auth/passwords
Create application password

Use this password with any IMAP4/POP3/SMTP email client
