As I mentioned in this other thread, Notion is about to relaunch Skiff email: https://www.emaildiscussions.com/showthread.php?t=79923

Is it a client app like outlook, or a provider app like gmail?

From.the androidauthority page quoted above
"Notion Mail would let you customize your inbox with views and use Notion AI for various tasks".
Looks like a client app....

Thanks for clarify it.
But searching "mail client" on app market, there are already many ones.
if it's a privacy focus email as the alternative to proton, it will be more likely to attract users.

If you read, or even skim through, the sources quoted by the OP, you'll find out what Notion Mail considers their unique selling point.

notion is testing the loyalty of its users. And users are testing the credibility of notion pairs.

I was finally about to settle on an email provider with Skiff and then they made the announcement. I paid for a year and everything. I did get a swift refund but what a bummer. I am never happy with any option and constantly bounce from one to another. I will check out Notion but doubt it will be the same.
