When this YARN was started, did anyone believe that it would still be active after 1547 posts?

Every DAWN we have a new day, Sherry, with another chance at continuing exercising our brain in this thread.

A new sunny day has started. There is a clattering of DAWS outside my window, making loud calls described by an Omniscient & Infallible On-line Source as "chyak-chyak".

A new cloudy day here in Texas. There are probably some CAWS from crows in the vicinity. I think that crows and daws are related, but there are few daws in the Americas.

Last year I managed to rescue a young and obviously inexperienced magpie from the JAWS of my cat.

In my province of Ontario we have strict LAWS about cats wandering outside without a leash or without being tied up.
When I have told some of my online friends from various European countries this, they are astounded! We have tons of neighbourhood cats (that are much loved pets), wandering outside all the time; though, so I don't think many people adhere to the rules on this law. |

There will be many people who are FAST to break the rules I am guessing; trying to cheat and say this is really a name or a place, etcetera.

I hope it's just a matter of being a little LATE in posting and not a sign of "Death from exhaustion".

Since the last DATE anyone posted was April 13, I had better bump this thread!
I hope that the thread never dies Sherry, as it is a fun thread, I guess we've all just been busy IRL lately? I know I have with my kids being sick (nothing serious) and helping out at the school, with field trips and a few other things lately so I guess maybe we just weren't checking the thread. |
