Any opinions about Mailfence?

It looks to be free.
It looks not to require a cell phone or linking email.
Not seeing an inactivity limit, though.

Have you tried it? Does it seem reliable, or does it pull the rug out from under you?

I have a mailfence free account. Only 500mb. Has an android app. I've not used it except for a few test emails.
I ended up buying a subscription to proton mail mainly because of features and competitive pricing. It has been excellent.
