Methinks he may not have liked school, as he was always out horse riding, and often went in LATE.

I think his FATE was to be an intellectual. He was obviously a well educated man.

Having read the Wikipedia article, and watching the episodes as a child, I will agree; I still RATE the L.R number one.

RATS - that means that a word has been re-used in less than a day (rate). I have been guilty of this error, but now I make every effort to check the previous dozen posts while I'm in the Reply screen.

CATS sometimes metaphorically dance on our keyboards, and mistakes will be made. I just took a DISC personality analysis, and I'm a type C. My job requires a lot of attention to detail - a Cosine filter is not the same as a Raised Cosine filter, for example. So I tend to notice written mistakes, and of course it's easier to see these in others than in ourselves.

In my CASE the real (not metaphorical) cat likes to walk across the keyboard.

The cat ignores the vase, it stares at weather VANE.
BTW, the question should have been Is my vase safe if my cat is nearby?

Ah yes, the weather is the BANE of our existence, and cats do hate bad weather. From the cat's point of view, the vase might mysteriously tip over onto the cat as if the vase was another creature. And the cat might not be safe from your wrath if the vase is nearby and falls!

Usually there are BAGS of broken glass (vases, drinking glasses, fish tanks, jars) where there are playful kittens around
