Is there a guide on how to do this? & will it work using the FM app / IMAP as well? Thanks. |

See my post:
https://www.emaildiscussions.com/sho...99&postcount=2 You can also set the default From address used when you compose a new message based on what label/folder which is currently open, or the From address used when replying to a message with the label/folder. To do this, go to the Advanced Settings screen for a label/folder and set the Default address. So if you have a solar power related group you correspond with, you can set up a Solar folder or label and create an alias such as solar@somedomain.com, a subdomain alias such as solar@myalias.sent.com, or even a wildcard subdomain alias such as *@myalias.sent.com which can be used as the From Default address. Then if you navigate to the Solar label/folder and compose a new message, the From address will be set appropriately if you have that address set up to deliver to that same label/folder. The causes all communication involving that group to be kept in that folder. Bill |
