A Christmas Carol, threw a dart into the heart, of all that was bad about Christmas, for those who were not of the leading edge of industrial capitalism.

The children in my house are up very early Christmas morning and don't waste any time to WAKE my hubby and me up!

janusz, I'd be very careful. It may be deeper than you think and you may find yourself in a LAKE instead of waking to the Christmas morning sounds of glee as Susan does.

When our children were young, we used to wake up before them on Christmas morning, we were more excited than they were, they seemed to MAKE us wait ages

Just when I thought it was safe to post, Janusz comes back from the lake and nips in before me, had to change "take" to "make" .

The TALE of two contributors submitting their posts at the same time strikes again

Not sure whether a tale can strike, but let it be...
