Setting up email in Vivaldi

I have one domain hosted with "Provider1". I use "Thunderbird" for my emails. All accounts on this domain work.
Yesterday I created a new domain and it is being hosted by "Provider2". I am attempting to set up my email accounts for this domain in "Vivaldi". The problems I am running into are as follows:

1. Auto-discovery of the email address does not work (Error msg: Autodiscovery failed. Please enter server settings).
2. After entering the server settings I get the following Error msg: Login for mail.domain.com failed. IMAP connection encountered an error! Error: Socket closed unexpectedly!
3. At this point I opened "Thunderbird" and attempted to add the same email address using the same server settings that I used on "Vivaldi". "Thunderbird" added the email address and retrieved the "Welcome" email from the domain host.

Could someone please help me with my setup in "Vivaldi"?

Thank you.

I've used Vivaldi for email before and it worked normally. First thing I would double-check are your email server settings--it is very easy to get one little thing wrong. Secondly, possibly you need an "app password" for Vivaldi, not your regular password. What email service are you trying to connect to Vivaldi? There is a Vivaldi forum too. https://forum.vivaldi.net/

Vivaldi email offers a generous 10Gb for its free account. I don't remember any free provider offers that other than Gmail/Outlook/Yahoo(1Tb)

I believe the OP is referring to the Vivaldi email client built into the Vivaldi browser.
