Porkbun offering Protonmail

When I logged onto Porkbun today I noticed they are advertising the option of signing up for Protonmail, at what they call a promotional price:
Quote:
$5.99$7.99 Save 25%!
Per user, per month
Billed annually, $71.88 for first year
Renews at $95.88/year
Though that looks higher than the price I see if I go directly to the Proton website, which lists that tier at a regular price of $4.99 per month with an introductory offer of $3.99 per month. EDIT: However, the Porkbun offering is for 3 domains, and maybe some of the other details are different than the tier direct from Proton:
Quote:
Encrypted email and calendar to get you started.

Includes:
15 GB storage per user
10 Email addresses/aliases
3 Custom email domains
Unlimited folders, labels, and filters
Unlimited messages per day
Priority support
Proton Calendar
I suppose having Porkbun setup the DNS for you might be worth the price for some folks. Porkbun is still offering their own simple email setup for $2 per month. I hope they keep it.

FYI I'm trying out a free Protonmail account, along with their free Proton Pass password manager, and free Proton Drive with 5GB of online storage. Haven't tried the calendar yet. I really like the design of these products, and so far I haven't encountered any major problems. Quite a substantial group of free offerings. The password manager is particularly nice. I like it better than Bitwarden.

Proton Mail Bridge is a way to do that, but only for paid accounts.

Proton Mail Bridge is an application that seamlessly encrypts and decrypts your mail as it enters and leaves your computer. It allows you to fully integrate your Proton Mail account with most clients that support IMAP and SMTP protocols, with official support for Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Apple Mail.
