well i have accounts on all these...but i use 1 yahoo 1 hotmail 1 gmail for mails

2 yahoo / 2 mail.ru for free pop access

But youvegotpost.com is no more.
I checked via several computers and they
do not exist anymore it seems.
It has been that way for most of the summer!

Like I said, I do not know how valid some of them are, and now I have more like 90, give or take, plus the 4 aventuremail accounts I had are now dead, as I am sure not giving them a single cent!!

Susan! How do you find the time, and to post hear???

Wow am i impessed,

I have just 4 accounts : Fastmail(the best) free.fr-becouse they gave it to me ages ago when i was with them. yahoo, becouse it works with eprompter, and BB, i only reall have time to look at 2 of them!!!!!

I do not log in to all fo them, some of them are dead, some I log in to just to keep valid and the ones I really use right now are:

My five fastmail paid accounts, 3 of my Yahoos, 2 Killer's, a few Gmails (*cough*), msn(Yes, people send me stuff there!), my xmail, my large hotmails(2), my 4 mail.com's I check, there is still some stuff I like to check once in a while... and a few other's I make sure don't get closed so I check in on, walla, gawab, jlmail,maktoob, and some others I am likely forgetting that are in my book...

Its really an interesting list!

Amway susan i still think your really better organised than i am

all my accounts are a mess, i still dont know how to use folders

at least not to direct mail to a folder

Im sure that would make an account far easier and quicker to use?

Im still reall really impressed!!!

1 fastmail (mm .. will probably keep)

(have also had but I think are defunct runbox, hotmail, netscape, and a raft of others I've forgotten there names..)

So, from what you have said about the emails and their status on your list, Zoo, is Gmail now your main account??

Does this not concern you as it is still in beta??Plus, the fact that the name may have to change and the fact that some of us have lost mails with them, at various times have had problems signing in and also the downtimes that Gmail has had??

We all seems to use email services according to our personalities prefs.

Some like it mean and lean

As few as possible like Zoo here. Still use two yahoo but will drop one of them. Zoo use as few as possible while Susan like to try out and maybe drop some but try out even more and has numerous services?

Me seem to be hording them so I need to find a structured way to dispose those that is not the best for me.

Yahoo is a must cause I am active in yahoogroups? ok you could have an yahoo ID without activating a free yahoo email I guess. And Yahoo is not good at protecting from Spam.

Still no spam in Gmail after one whole month. So that is good.

Fastmail and Bluebottle still no spam for two month either.

so I keep those ones too.

I've added directBox.de since last edit.

And yahoo gave me my new yahoo addy back after me breaking the TOS using yahoopops so be careful

would it be a cool thread to try to figure out what a minimalistic list of email services one need to have.

There are a thread about the most preferred email?

But how many is realistic to see as a minimum to have.

My sister says Two is minimum. Your ISP and one free email service that is available both webinterface and pop or imap the free one for careless joining of New York Times and such

The hotmail account is only used for MSN.
