Before today I had zero. Now three, one is my wife's. This month Microsoft turned off all of my accounts third party access. I now have to use a client that supports "Microsoft?s modern authentication methods" in other words OAuth2. My client Claws Mail does support OAuth2 but, I have to set it up. To do so I have to create an Azure account. To do that I have to provide my phone number and a "billing address" their words. Not sure if I want to go through that process. I am thinking it may be better to just drop Microsoft all together and change my address for those that are using my Microsoft accounts to another service.
The Outlook app works but sort of defeats having all accounts in one place. No, I do not want to change my client to one the supports OAuth2 out of the box. I knew it was coming. They notified me on July 2nd and again on September 11th. |

Wow, resurrecting an 11 1/2 year old thread.
The question was " How many webmail accounts do you have ?". If I were to differentiate between email accounts and webmail accounts, I would have to say that I have zero webmail-only accounts. All my email accounts can be accessed by IMAP, Exchange, or POP. I do have two Telus accounts, powered by GMail, that I leave open in my browser to facilitate applying labels and archiving. Regardless, I have fewer accounts than I did 11 years ago. |

I view "web mail" as only web mail access.
All of my account have web access, but also have POP3, IMAP and OAuth2 access. |

I primarily use gmail and my domain mail today.
But occasionally access autistici and riseup, as a backup way. |

At the moment I have a couple of Gmail accounts and another one I access routinely, so I would say 3 webmails. I also have my main Gmail account connected to Thunderbird on the desktop, mainly as a backup. Lots of other email addresses at various services just forward to Gmail. Despite claims to the contrary, I have had very few problems using email forwarding.
