now Maggie Reilly - "Wait"
Anyone still remembers her? She was the voice that made Mike Oldfield's "Moonlight shadow" and "To France" into the epic songs they've become. I Always felt it was a bit unfair those songs weren't released as "Mike Oldfield feat. Maggie Reilly" ; it were her vocals that really gave those songs that extra bit of magic. |

The God Machine - "Painless"
What an epic band. Just 2 albums, but one of the best bands ever IMO. A band that left a very huge impact on me and that I seem to never get bored of. Their songs were epic like few other bands ever sounded to me. Such a shame that the decease of the bass player restricted the career of this band to just 2 albums. 2 true gems, but still, what a loss. May their bass player and this band never be forgotten. |

Suede - "Life is golden"
Approx 25 years in the business, and they keep creating epic songs. This is by far one of their best tracks they've done in their long career IMO, very euphoric and with very hopeful soothing lyrics. The video is very beautiful too, with footage of the ghost city of Pripyat. Saw Suede live on 30th September in Brussels. Great concert, the new songs are really good, and live they're still as good as they've ever been. |

Still in a Suede modus. Now playing: "Animal Nitrate".
Found the CD single of this one in a second hand record store, bought it for just 5 €. Money well spent |

Listening to the sound of a fan, it's 34℃ according to my not so accurate mercury thermometer at 18:41. The weather widget on my cell phone says 30.
Music wise just put Gary Stewart - Quits on. |

Today I discovered this band called Sleeping at Last. I love all the songs. Best for work or for a calm, chill playlist.
I believe they also sang a soundtrack on the Twlight: Breaking Dawn movie called Turning Page. |

Burn - Deep Purple
Time for a little rock ‘n’ roll.
Deep Purple performing “Burn” at the California Jam, 1974. This is the #3 lineup with David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Paice and Jon Lord (died in 2012). They still touring today with the three original members of the band: Ian Gillan, Ian Paice and Roger Glover plus Steve Morse and Don Airy. https://youtu.be/BxgVpSVpH6Y |

I preferred Stormbringer to Burn, but it's not classic Purple!
