Some of the best of the golden oldies on telly

I wonder what is rated as some of the best television programmes on the box at the moment. Some of the old ones that are repeated are still some of the best.

Here are a list of mine, even though some are not so old:

I Claudius

Father Ted

Dracula (B.B.C early 70s)

Mind Your Language

Dr Who

The Goodies

The Survivors

The Good Life

Blake 7

Good topic teacher!! My British favs: Father Ted,Keeping up Appearances,Some Mothers Do Have Them,Red Dwarf,The Brittas Empire,BlackAdder,Mr.Bean,Fawlty Towers,The Vicar of Dibley,French and Saunders,Murder Most Horrid,Monty Python and Absolutely Fabulous.

American favs:Brady Bunch,Cosby Show,Bewitched,I Dream of Jeannie,Hogan's Heroes,MASH,Three's Company,Full House,My Three Sons,Family Affair,Green Acres,Petticoat Junction,Remington Steel, and Hart 2 Hart.

There are lots of others but these were the ones that came immediately to mind....the older shows are nice and as a mom I am so pleased that the children love watching the older family shows like The Brady Bunch,Full House and the like, they love them which pleases me immensely...as I know the content is goo, clean humour!! Susan.

Who could ever forget Gilligan's Island? One person nicnamed me "professor" after the professor ... do'nt know why ... I'm no rocket scientist ...lol.
The Wild Wild West was my fave. Remember the evil dwarf and his companion?
Good old Gunsmoke - I was so dissapointed Marshall Dillan and Kitty never hooked up.
One Step Beyond. The episode where the plane landed after being missing for 20 years with a skeleton inside scared the heck out of me.
Superman. The original series was great. Seen the biography of the actor and the mysterious circumstances in which he died.
Hogan's Heros. " I see nothing " ... " I know nothing " ...
All in the Family. Who could hate Archie Bunker?
