Is there a word/phrase to describe the general format of, for instance, this forum versus the format for Craigslist?

Is there a word/phrase to describe the straight vertical sequence of replies in a thread, like here, versus Chowhound, where there is a slight indentation to clarify which post is being responded to?

Is there a word/phrase to describe how some forums re-position a thread at the top every time there's a reply, like here, versus ones where threads stay in chronological order, and eventually drop off the end of a webpage, as with Craigslist?
