Mailvelope?

Does anyone have any recent experience using Mailvelope with FM?

Searching the forum reveals it was discussed 8+ years ago and there were some problems then, but I wonder if they have been solved.

An add-on such as that won't work with the browser I use primarily, but there are a few chromier ones that I use occasionally and the Mailvelope plugin works fine for me if I use it in one of those situations.
