I run a small business, and I’ve seen how much things have changed with the tools available now. For emails, I use Outlook, but there are other good options like G Suite. There are also many helpful business tools like sugar customer relationship management, Slack for team communication, Trello for project management, and QuickBooks for accounting. Tools like these make running a business a lot easier. I'm interested to see what everyone else is using and to share ideas in the new thread.

Old thread revival here, but I'll kick in another thought or two. One thing not mentioned is what tools you need and use is vastly dependant on the size or your enterprise and the business you are in. For example, I have worked with other businesses that require the delivery of certain documents in Microsoft Word or Excel. Doesn't leave much room for choice. Many government agencies have specific requirements in how you must deliver stuff, and it is often in Microsoft formats. OTOH, maybe your business mainly needs just a communication tool, so you could use almost any email service that is reliable and secure. Other people might need private messaging. There is no single answer that makes sense for every business.

Are there any email services that do NOT deliver Microsoft documents?
