Adding film titles to facebook profile
I wanted to update my FB profile by adding the films and TV series I watched in the last couple of years to the list. I never really kept that part of my profile up-to-date, so I figured it was about time to update it. But if I go to my own profile, then "about" and then scrolling down to the movies section, I can see the films I already added (and marked as "watched") years ago, but without an option to add new titles.
How can I add new films to the list of movies watched in my profile? |

I spent several minutes trying to figure out how to do this. I cannot figure out how to add Movies or any of the other Sections offered like Books.
For me Movies shows: Watched "No Watched to show", Movies "No Movies to show" Same for Books, etc. I found this in Facebook help: Code:
Add Things to Your About Page To add things to your About page: Go to your profile. Click About below your cover photo. Scroll down to a section (example: movies) and click + Add Movies. Search for something to add to your About page. There is no section Movies, unless it is under Likes, when I select Movies it says "No Movies to show" The only options I see are "Hide Section" and "Edit the Privacy of Your Likes" After a bit more searching for a solution I found this. https://www.facebook.com/help/commun...10099479698343 Seems that this has been broken for over four years. |

Facebook should do something about their FAQ/help section. In the discussion on how to disconnect Facebook from Instagram profile (see other topic in this forum) I also found an answer in Facebook's FAQ that was no longer working. It seems they changed some things (or have some bugs) without having changed their FAQ. Comes across as highly unprofessional for a company as big as Facebook.
I guess people will now never know what movies I watched last year (although with a few friends as exception, I doubt anyone cares ) |
