Great find!
However, not very accurate. There were 0 hits for both my first and last name. I know this is inaccurate. I wonder how they got their data. |

Sterdeus, the info comes from the U.S. Census Bureau (no as-of date stated). So maybe there are no people in the U.S. with your same name? But there is at least one in Canada
People with my first name number 568,440 in the U.S. People with my last name number 960, but that probably excludes women who changed their last name when they married so the number may be higher. Also, on the other hand, it includes women who changed their last name to this one when they married. This kind of data can be skewed when those factors are considered. Interesting site nonetheless. I'm posting the result on my blog (and drive more traffic to their site . Maybe. ) |

I wonder if they will do international versions of the site? It would be cool to see how many people had my surname in Australia. I'd put it at less then 100 - 200? |

The other thing is that I'm sure my last name was 6th the other day and now it's 7th. Perhaps it's being updated constantly. |

ah, it explains a little bit in the FAQ
http://ww2.howmanyofme.com/faq/#section1 I think I'm the "1 in 10" because my first name is not that uncommon. |

Thanks for bringing this up again.
Now it says: There are fewer than 1,668 people in the U.S. with the first name . There are fewer than 124 people in the U.S. with the last name . Looks like people started naming their kids the same as mine! |

Fun! By coincidence there are 11 other people in the USA that have my name and also 11 people that share my wife's maiden name. Only 642 people with my last name in the whole country though my first name is very popular. Both my wife and I have rather unusual last names, and even though they are both very easy to spell we find they are misspelled all the time when people enter us into various systems. I have never met anyone with my last name who is not a relative.
