Large file sharing?

Any chance there will be a feature implemented where we can send somebody a link to a large file in our storage space like with Dropbox, or similar services? I just got done uploading a file, and 30 - 45 minutes later, when the file was done and after I registered, the file was gone without warning. I know Runbox wouldn't put me through anything like that, if they had the feature.

It is in our future plans, but not on the agenda right now. We know a lot of our customers would like this, so it is something we would try to prioritize.

Thank you for the suggestion!

It's a little hard for me to see the advantage of integrating those functions with mail. Why use Runbox for that? Amazon's AWS and Rackspace et al seem pretty fast and cheap (if not free) for files.

I agree with emebrs.

I think runbox should focus on improving the webclient... Unfortunatelly, I'm not sure if it'll happen anytime soon.

They already have the file storage. Seems like to me it wouldn't be too difficult to do, and I remember a discussion about making storage folders public a long, long time ago.
