Outlook 2002, IMAP viewing folders
I just setup Outlook 2002 to read my email on fastmail.fm. It is all working, but I do not see any of the folders on the fastmail server except for inbox. Anyone know how to see everthing regarding my email at fastmail.fm in Outlook?

Have you followed the step-by-step client setup guide at FM?
You can check it at the sticky thread " Sticky: Useful Fastmail-related links" and goes to the FAQ. There's a link to setup email client there, for Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc. This one for OL XP. http://www.fastmail.fm/docs/imap/outlookxp.htm Good luck. |

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem on Outlook 2002... i have set the root folder as being "inbox" but only the inbox folder appears...
The following message appears when i click in the 'fastmail' above the inbox folder: "Unable to display the folder. This is the root of an IMAP stores. The root does not contain messages but may have subfolders that do. To see messages in the subfolders, display the folder list, and then click the subfolder". I click on "update folder list" in the right-click menu, but nothing happens. Help!!!! |

Try that and see if it fixes the problem. And welcome to the forums, by the way. |
