If someone was really allergic to a particular scent and you sent them an email like that they wouldn;t appreciate it very much,would they?? Susan.

system crash: burnt electronic parts

new mail notification: depends on who it's from
- someone you know: floral, maybe
- someone you don't know: some mixture of faintly identifiable odors but very mysterious nonetheless
