Has anyone here tried this?
Does anyone here know additional info? Does FastMail act as a reseller or as a registry? What are the prices? How does the interface look (for things such as setting whois data etc.) |

In my Fastmail account, I just made up a .com domain name, and Fastmail wants $15.54 to register it.
They are only offering to register 3 domains (com/net/org) so are very limited. I've found the TOS: https://www.fastmail.com/about/tos-domain/, and haven't found much additional information there, although admittedly I just quickly glanced through the TOS. Their offering is probably aimed at the novice, and not for the more knowledgeable (with the odd exception) as is here on this forum. Last edited by Avion : 31 Dec 2022 at 04:19 AM. |

I can't find any information about price or transferring domains currently registered elsewhere. The TOS don't really give much actionable info. Where can we get more details?

I suspect that the domains would be registered via a third-party supplier; I cannot see any advantage in transferring a domain to them, even if they actually do it. You are better keeping your domain registration separate from your e-mail supplier anyway. |
